As an explosive 6v6 hero shooter, Marvel Rivals requires lightning-fast responses from NetEase servers. If you keep running into 'Server Connection Failed' errors or matchmaking hiccups, your router might be treating the game's aggressive multiplayer data streams as a security threat.
Step 1: Secure Your Xbox Local IP
- Find your network statistics under Settings > General > Network Settings > Advanced Settings and lock down a Manual IP.
Step 2: Configure Marvel Rivals Infrastructure Ports
Log into your router panel, navigate to the Port Forwarding tab, and enter the following rules assigned straight to your console:
TCP: 80, 443, 3074, 8880-8881, 9000-9002, 10002-10005, 10200-10204 UDP: 88, 500, 3074, 3544, 4500
